The kit includes all the components needed to build your own solar energy system to power of few lights, a radio or small television, a laptop computer and more.

If you want more power, the system (with the exception of the inverter) can be easily expanded. Any number of panels can be connected together, provided the panels are of the same wattage. The 4-amp charge controller can manage up to three 20-watt panels, and extra charge controllers can be wired into the system. However, the inverter cannot be connected to another inverter to provide more power nor can it be configured to operate at a higher input voltage, so a higher watt inverter would be needed.
