Feasibility and Cost/Benefit Analysis:

After you contact one of Electron’s solar experts, we go to work immediately to determine if a solar energy system installation is right for you.  We ask you to provide us with the following:

  • FPL (or your local utility company) bills to determine electrical usage for at least 12 billing periods
  • Permission to take satellite image of roof to determine sufficient area exposure  
  • A description of your roofing material, condition and age
  • The percentage of energy independence needed

After our assessment, we will provide you with a preliminary price quote for a solar energy system customized to your energy needs.  If the cost and electric bill savings meet your expectations, we will schedule a site visit.  After which we will provide you with:How to buy Solar Energy

  • A comprehensive proposal of which size solar system is right for your situation
  • A price quote that includes all equipment, building permit fees, installation, building inspections and amount of rebate available from both the Federal and State Government. 
  • A financial analysis of return on investment for your system, including any tax credits or incentives available to you
Contract Signing and Installation Scheduling

Once you have made a decision to proceed with a solar installation on your home, the next steps are:

  • Sign the installation contract and provide us with a deposit (as determined in the proposal)
  • Our team will submit your rebate application 
  • Our project managers will procure a building permit
Installation of your Solar System

Our professional installers will typically install your complete system in 3 months.



Completion of System


Electron will assist in the scheduling of the final inspection of your solar energy system by your utility company.  Once passed, your solar system is fully functional and you are contributing to the energy solution!
